When I say this book was an excellent read, I mean it. The authors follow up was on point and right in line with where he left off. He brings the characters to life in this book and it seems almost as if you're playing each characters position as you read along. There's a lot you will be entertained by in this book. If your looking for drama, it's here, love, that too, need sex, lies, murder, cover ups, revenge and crazy twists, yep you'll find it in here. But you gotta read part one first or you'll be lost. A great read. It didnt disappoint not one bit. I fell in love with all my favorite characters all over again. I didn't want it to end, a must read, a book with a whole lot of substance.
You're newest book is incredible I am a huge Kwan fan and you have the beginning of a great series like the Animal series. This book is a great sequel and I live in a Cincinnati and the book felt so real and alive...10 stars **********

I am officially addicted to this series. I love this one as much if not more than the first book. I feel like I have spent years with these characters. The author does a great job of making the characters relatable along with their struggles and life's lessons. This book is fulfilling to the soul along with entertaining.
This is GREAT book! Very relatable. I feel I personally walked away with a better understanding about LIFE! This book made me bring out my pen and paper to take notes so that I can can apply the learnings to go forth to better at the choices I make. A wealth of information! it definitely didn't seem like any fiction book to me, more so like real life in the NOW!!!
The storyline is so intricate and complex that the suspense is almost unbearable as you turn each page. The author has a keen sense when it comes to creativity and attention to detail. Although the story is fiction, every bit of it felt realistic. Some of the ideas expressed in the book are so impressive, that it makes you wonder why the black community hasn't brought these concepts to fruition. I've read both books and can't wait for the third installment of the series!!!
